DXC Technology (DXC) manages essential computer systems for large companies and governments, including banks, airlines and insurers.
Its OASIS software helps customers manage older systems as they add artificial intelligence. DXC reported more than 50 customers using the platform in June. Infrastructure-service bookings, a measure of new business, rose 35% in the June quarter.
With a market cap of approximately $2 billion, DXC trades at approximately 5x management's fiscal 2027 adjusted earnings forecast, which excludes some costs. Its next quarterly report could draw attention if new business lifts margins. Falling sales, restructuring charges and June debt exceeding cash by $1.5 billion remain risks.
Opinion: DXC appears potentially undervalued if modernizing older computer systems brings profitable new business in its next report.
